What is a driving test cancellation?
Availability can appear when a candidate reschedules or cancels, or when new appointment capacity is released. These dates become bookable through the driving test calendar and can be taken quickly.
Is there an official RSA cancellation list?
No. See our dedicated guide. Cancelled slots just reappear as normal availability in the RSA booking calendar.
How do the app's alerts work?
You pick the test centres you want to watch. Our server continuously reads publicly available slot data. When a new slot appears at a centre you're watching, you get an instant push notification. You then book the slot on the official RSA / MyRoadSafety site.
Is this service affiliated with the RSA?
No. Driving Test Cancellations IE is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the RSA. The app monitors publicly available slot data; all bookings are completed through MyRoadSafety.
Does the service access my RSA account or password?
No. The website feed and app alerts are based on publicly available slot data. We do not collect your MyRoadSafety password or complete a booking on your behalf.
How many centres can I monitor?
You can follow multiple test centres in the app, making it easier to cover several locations you would be willing to travel to.
Are push alerts included?
Push alerts are available with the app's notification subscription. Keep notifications enabled so the app can let you know when availability is detected at your chosen centres.
How much does the app cost?
The app is free to download and may offer paid notification or monitoring options. Current prices and billing periods are shown in the App Store or Google Play before purchase.
Does an alert guarantee a driving test slot?
No. Alerts are informational. Availability may change before you open MyRoadSafety, and the service cannot reserve a slot for you.
How fresh is the website cancellation feed?
Each feed shows when its snapshot was generated and the estimated publication delay. Read our methodology for definitions and limitations.
How is the actual booking done?
Open MyRoadSafety from your alert, check that the date is still available and complete the booking there.
Is the app available on iPhone and Android?
Yes. iPhone via the App Store and Android via Google Play. Links are in the footer and throughout the site.
